ITINERARY: SERENGETI & NGORONGORO (6 DAYS/5 NIGHTS)

Day 1 : Moshi/Arusha – Serengeti An early morning start has you driving to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. After arriving mid afternoon you will spend a few hours on your first game drive in search of cats. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 2 : Serengeti Today you have a full day to enjoy the Serengeti. Break your day into morning and afternoon game drives or take a picnic lunch box for a full day game drive. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 3 : Serengeti Another full day to enjoy this amazing park and search for cats – lion, leopard & cheetah. Extend your search into Western or Northern Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 4 : Serengeti – Ngorongoro An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day. After your morning game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators like cheetah. Enjoy a full day game drive including picnic lunch by the hippo pond. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 6 : Ngorongoro – Arusha/Moshi This morning you will enjoy a walking safari around the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you are likely to see a range of small animals, birds and local flora & fauna. After lunch you will commence your drive back to Arusha/Moshi.

ITINERARY: LAKE MANYARA / SERENGETI / NGORONGORO (4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS)

Day 1 : Moshi/Arusha – Lake Manyara This morning you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive of this park, described as one of the hidden gems of Tanzania. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions and large herds of elephant, which are not shy to come straight up to the vehicle. Overnight at Lake Manyara.

Day 2 : Lake Manyara – Serengeti After breakfast drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. All afternoon will be spent on game drive before enjoying dinner and the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti. Overnight in Seronera (the centre of the Serengeti).

Day 3 : Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day. After a few hours game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4 : Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Moshi This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators like cheetah. Enjoy lunch by the hippo pond before commencing your drive back to Arusha.

ITINERARY: TARANGIRE/SERENGETI/NGORONGORO (5DAYS/4NIGHTS)

Day 1 : Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest national parks and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Overnight in Tarangire National Park

Day 2 : Tarangire – Serengeti This morning you can enjoy a short game drive in Tarangire before driving to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. Enjoy your afternoon game drive before the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti. Overnight in Seronera (the centre of the Serengeti)

Day 3 : Serengeti Today you have a full day to explore the Serengeti. Break the day into morning and afternoon game drives or take a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Overnight  in Seronera, Serengeti.

Day 4 : Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day.  After a few  hours game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Moshi This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Day 4 : Serengeti Today you have the full day to experience the Serengeti. Break your day into morning and afternoon game drives or take a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Overnight in Serengeti National Park

Day 5 : Serengeti – Lake Natron This morning you will commence your journey to Lake Natron with an on route game drive. Arrive late afternoon and then after a couple of hours sleep you have the option to climb the active volcano of Oldoinyo-Lengai. Your climb will begin shortly before midnight to allow you to reach the top for sunrise. You need to be prepared for a challenging climb as it is very steep and covered in volcanic ash. From the top the effort is rewarding with incredible views. Overnight at Lake Natron

Day 6 : Lake Natron Lake Natron is famous for millions of flamingo’s and amazing sunrise/sunsets. Today you can spend time recovering from your climb or enjoy some of the many activities in the area. These include visiting Lake Natron’s sparkling shores to see the millions of flamingos and visiting the local waterfalls. Overnight at Lake Natron

Day 7 : Lake Natron-Arusha/Moshi This morning you will commence your drive back to Arusha/Moshi.

ITINERARY : TARANGIRE / SERENGETI / NGORONGORO (9 DAYS / 8 NIGHTS)

Day 1 : Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Day 4 : Tarangire – Serengeti After breakfast drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wilderbeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. All afternoon will be spent on game drive before enjoying dinner and the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 5 : Serengeti Today you have a full day to explore the Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 6 : Serengeti With another full day in the park you can travel to more remote areas. Whilst other people are congregating around central Serengeti, you will travel further into Western, Southern or Northern Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti National Park.

Day 7 : Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day. After  a few hours game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 8 : Ngorongoro Crater This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Day 9 : Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Moshi This morning you have the chance to enjoy a walking safari around the rim of the crater. Here you are likely to see a range of small animals, birds and local flora & fauna. After lunch commence your drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
